King Street New Store Launch

Brief:

Bankwest were opening a new store with state-of-the-art banking facilities in the Sydney CBD, we were asked to create awareness and drive traffic for the launch.

Idea:

We hit on the idea of using the bank’s location of King St to create our theme “Happy Bank King - the ultimate destination for CBD banking”. We drove traffic instore by handing out large orange ‘Google style’ map pins to workers around the CBD asking them to put their ‘PIN’ in the King of ATMs at King Street to win a guaranteed prize redeemable in the area, plus the chance to win $5000 in an account. The campaign had hit target by day two of the three-day activation.
