An integrated comms campaign across digital display, print, OOH, transit, advertorial, POS, DM & Edm, plus an edm based promotion to Qantas Frequent Flyers. Incorporate the Gary the squirrel character.
For the integrated campaign we needed an idea and visual that could adapt across a huge variety of media spaces – we came up with an airport ‘just landed’ arrivals board and luggage carrousel with an array of ‘Louis Nutton’ luggage for our squirrel. In addition to paid media, Qantas had provided a single edm hit opportunity to their frequent flyer database. Working with (the very brilliant) team at Host we created an EDM promo campaign that offered a world trip for 4 people and $20,000 spending money to QFF members – this single hit edm gathered a database for Bankwest that we then rolled out an 8 week edm campaign to, building up more Qantas trip prizes each week, with each edm building on the benefits of the Qantas Transaction Account. Despite launching at a very challenging time for Qantas, the overall campaign has been one of the most successful new account launches ever for Bankwest.
